 Chandra home lies at Gadi, a remote village of Makawanpur. His family consists of parents, one elder sister, one younger sister and two younger brothers. His elder sister got married. Chandra also enrolled up to grade three at local school in village. Because of extremely weak economic condition, he could not continue his school. His parents could not support him any more. Thus, Chandra was sent to Kathmandu with his aunt to weave carpet for food.
Chandra was very sad to leave school, family, village and good friends in his village. He used to blame his own fate for that. He did not have any known and loving person in factory. He was very anxious and sad in factory. He could not sleep because remembrance of mother, village and his mates. One day he was very much homesick and left factory to go home. But he did not know the way and he was caught. His aunt beat him very severely which he never forgets. Chandra was found weaving carpet and removed. He says “ my fate was good and removed from factory “ He was removed from the factory on 24 March, 2004. He was there for a month.
Chandra was brought to Good Weave Rehabilitation centre. Being hard working and disciplined, he was sent to Little Angel’s School , one of the reputed school in Kathmandu. He is an excellent student not only in study but also sports and extra- curricular activities. His teachers in his school report that he is one of the bright student in his class.
Chandra says -“I had never dream that I would study such rich men’s school. He further says that I am seriously indebted to Good Weave Nepal for this opportunity.”
According to Little Angel’s school report, she is excellent in study and friendly among all. Finally, he has passed SLC Examination in first division with 69%.
